Associate Broker/Team Lead at McEnearney Associates, Castillo works tirelessly for her company, clients, and community. McEnearney Associates provides real estate brokerage services in Washington D.C., Maryland, & Virginia while continuously striving for excellence in all facets of real estate. Formerly, Associate Broker/Team Lead at COMPASS, Principal Broker/Owner at RE/MAX SKY, SKY Real Estate, & Senate Realty for the past 18 years, Castillo brings her team to McEnearney Associates for a fresh new feel to the ever-changing real estate industry.
Castillo is also the Co-Founder of Infinity Capital Group (ICG). ICG was founded in 2016 and successfully produces “Distinctive Development” residential projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area for the past 10 years. With over 50 successful projects under her belt, Castillo prides herself on her diverse knowledge of the all aspects of real estate: sales, development, and design.
Castillo prior experience includes appointment by District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency’s Executive Director to run the daily operations of the Agency’s HomeSaver $20 million program. Castillo spearheaded the US Treasury’s Hardest Hit Foreclosure Prevention Initiative. From 2004-2017, Castillo managed the daily operations of her former brokerages, residential and commercial real estate brokerage companies. Castillo also contributed to the branding and marketing of the company, while building core business through residential & commercial clients and small- to mid-sized developers. Prior to this position, Castillo served as Director of Marketing for Advanced Communications Group from 2001 to 2004; and from 1999 to 2001, she built a solid network of contacts throughout Washington D.C. as the Press Secretary for Alcee Hastings, US House of Representatives.
As a native of Nicaragua her story is one of achievement, growth, and success. Castillo’s tenacity led her to become an expert in several key areas that have contributed to her current leadership position in real estate, including relationship building, business management, and effective negotiation. She is also multilingual and adept at communicating with diverse groups of people. Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida. In addition to her commitment to lifelong learning, Castillo continues to be a champion of the arts and community. She is the creator of ART BUZZ, which is a joint fundraising event that assists aspiring, underprivileged young artists. She also coordinates and participates in bi-annual trips to feed the hungry and homeless Miskito Indians on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua, Central America. Castillo serves on the Board of Delta Housing Board II of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as the Treasurer, and on the Board of DC Arts & Humanities Education Collaborative as a member. She is the co-author of “Voices of Inspiration” book published in 2015, her chapter is entitled: “Fearless in Entrepreneurship”. Her most recent accomplishment includes the launching of FlipQueenDC.com, where you can preview her development projects, learn more about her investment consulting services, and read/watch her real estate blog. Her most recent venture includes founding and co-hosting a real estate and lifestyle podcast called Queens of the DMV: Real Talk & Real Estate airing on Spotify/YouTube/Apple. Castillo has won the Washingtonian Magazine Top Realtor Award for 9 consecutive years, the Wall Street Journal Top Agent Award for 3 consecutive years, the Compass Top Team Award three years in a row, featured in DC Modern Magazine Top Luxury Realtors February 2021 Edition. Castillo is a 22-year resident of the Washington, D.C. Metro Area and currently resides in Silver Spring, Maryland with her two sons and husband.

Ashley is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and comes from an extensive project management background through deep involvement with her family-owned construction company. There, she developed hands on construction experience with both privately and publicly funded residential and commercial projects.
Prior to her career in real estate, Ashley travelled the world as an international flight attendant for American Airlines where she enriched her passion for people. Her experience helped Ashley develop excellent interpersonal communication skills and a true talent for multi-tasking in high level, high stress environments.
After leaving the airline industry in 2015, Ashley began her career in real estate in the Washington D.C. Metro area as a Development Associate for an award-winning Architect and Developer. There, she specialized in all facets of real estate development with a concentration in new construction condominium projects. Ashley quickly excelled and advanced into a Marketing and Development Manager position where she directed all facets of the sales and marketing sector.
Ashley has completed over $75 million in combined development projects, marketing, and sales and is responsible for one of the largest periods of growth in a single development area in Northeast Washington, D.C. She has since dived into the Washington D.C. residential luxury market still specializing in creative development with both new construction and renovation projects. She is passionate about real estate and delivering top tier solutions to all of her clients.

Originally from rural Eastern Kentucky, Julie Ramey has lived in the DMV area for 10 years. Her childhood included time spent helping her father build houses, instilling in her a passion for housing. This passion has followed her throughout her life, particularly in her work addressing the impacts of housing policies on Native American Reservations. She started her career in D.C. as a federal contractor supporting The Department of Housing and Urban Development’s administration of the Indian Housing Block Grant Program. Julie has worked on policies and programs in support of the Native American community to include the Affordable Care Act, Consultation Policies, and furthering Native American Businesses. She has served as Project Manager & Communications Specialist for federal consulting firms and Deputy Director of a Native American Advocacy Organization. She currently works fulltime administering large scale IT contracts and serving as a Subject Matter Expert on Tribal Enterprise and Alaska Native Corporation 8a Contracts.
With a desire to return to her roots and passion, Julie is forging a new path in real estate. She is committed to helping people and has a firm belief that the health of a home is the heart of a community. Having an appreciation for architecture, design, and the way they reflect personality, she is excited to help her clients find the home and community that fits their hopes and dreams. Julie has fallen in love with the DMV area and all it has to offer from the vibrance of its diversity to the ever changing fast paced environment. Julie graduated from Berea College in Central Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in political science and another in communication. She has a master’s in public administration from Morehead State University. She lives in Fort Washington, MD with her husband and two cats, Odell and Lambeau. Her hobbies include expanding her woodworking and handyman skills.

Joe Clair - host, comedian, radio personality, on-air veteran, and realtor - is no stranger when it comes to Washington, D.C. This native of Seat Pleasant, MD is the current host of WPGC’s 95.5 “Joe Clair Morning Show”, taking the morning airwaves by storm and making the drive to work much more enjoyable for listeners across the DMV. He is a proud graduate of Morgan State University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and found his passion for comedy, music, and communications.
Joe has a huge passion to help others which is constantly displayed through his call to community service. He continues to show the community he cares accepting up to 10 appearances a month for countless speaking engagements and appearances at elementary schools, high schools, organizations, youth programs, community town hall forums, fundraisers, etc. In addition, he serves as the lead weekly mentor and instructor of music for the Greater DC Covenant House, engaging and inspiring students with skills to produce music.
It is working in the community that lead Joe to obtain his real estate license in 2018. He immediately joined the Menkiti Group and continued to gain knowledge of the home buyer myths and disparities of economic wealth in zip codes throughout the DMV. It was there, he pledged to educate the African American community on “Wealth Building”.
In 2019, Joe Clair (Clarity Media) was given the opportunity to take his commitment of wealth building to a higher level by partnering in ownership with Berkeley Advisors. Berkeley Advisors, LLC is a commercial and residential real estate brokerage specializing in real estate sales, consulting, and portfolio management. Joe and Berkeley Advisors both believe in his mission of empowering the community and has started an initiative to encourage and educate people on homeownership. Their goal is to provide our community with tools through blogs, podcasts, and monthly home buying seminars with themes such as “First Time and Veterans Home Buying”, “Buying Back the Block”, and “Financial Literacy”. The brokerage has launched the “1000 Home Challenge” for 1000 families in the DMV area to purchase homes. Berkeley Advisors is affiliated with GCAAR, PGCAAR and MAR.
Other notable associations for Joe: As graduate of a HBCU, Joe is an on-going Ambassador of the DC Metro HBCU Alumni Alliance, which thrives through fundraising. HBCU Alumni Alliance raises scholarship funds for DMV area students attending HBCU’s across the U.S. In addition to this role as ambassador, Joe is a man that puts his money where his mouth is making annual donations and appearances at Morgan State University. Joe has received many honors for his role as a philanthropist, those acknowledgements include: Northern Virginia Urban League Young Professionals Network, The Covenant House Annual Gala, and The Made Man.

Selena came to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to earn a graduate degree in professional studies from Georgetown University. This knowledge, coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit and experience with online sales and marketing, has provided her with valuable skills that she uses daily in real estate negotiations. In addition to her career in real estate, Selena co-founded and oversees two successful e-commerce businesses and manages client relations for multiple brands, including the largest short-term rental owner in the midwest. Selena has built a successful career on being resilient and resourceful, as well as an innovative thinker. After joining Cher Castillo & Co. the team was recognized by D.C. magazine as a DC Modern Luxury Real Estate award recipient in October 2021.
Selena is passionate about people and strives to provide efficient, seamless experiences for all of her clients. She attended the University of West Georgia where she earned Bachelor of Arts degree and English and earned a Master’s in Journalism from Georgetown University. When she isn’t helping people find their homes in Northern Virginia, she’s planning her next adventure and exploring NoVA restaurants.
